The New FedEx Mid-Atlantic Air Hub, operating at our Piedmont Triad International Airport (Greensboro NC) is a reality. With the capacity to sort up to 24,000 packages an hour, it is the company’s fifth major U.S. Cargo hub. The airport built a new 9,000 ft. long runway as part of the deal for Federal Express selecting Greensboro for its southeast sorting hub, and quietly opened on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010.

The best part about my job is the combination of talent that goes into producing a pull up banner stand in 24 hours. The graphic design requires precision and creativity, the art direction requires clear communication skills and statesman like etiquette. The printing of the banner is often taken for granted because of its technology based production stream – but having knowledge of color/inks/profiles/saturation and densities are indispensable to perfect prints.
